My Story

As a child, I loved watching raindrops fall into puddles and, of course, playing in the water.  I was fascinated by how one drop could create multiple rings - each ring bigger than the next.    In my heart, I still have the curiosity of a child. I am not splashing in puddles as much as I did in my youth, but I like to find the nugget of data that makes a significant impact.  In this modern IoT world, we live in, I find my child's curiosity helps me understand the process, customers, and a product's unique placement.

I have worked with data for more than 15 years and have always been able to use technology to uncover insights. Several years ago, I accepted a Sales Operations Manager role for a global technology company and was asked to take on the responsibilities of Salesforce Admin. When I said "yes" to this opportunity, little did I know that it would change the course of my life.

As a Salesforce admin, I saw how Salesforce broke down silos. Every department in the organization shared information in real-time. Reports and Dashboards uncovered insights to drive sales and customer satisfaction. I became a big fan of Salesforce as I learned how its products could streamline processes and provide a 360-degree view of a business.  My experience continued to grow over the years. I went on to manage multiple Salesforce deployments, led the project management team to implement CPQ, and re-launched Pardot.

I became passionate about all things Salesforce and earned eight product certifications. Several years ago, I wanted to share my knowledge and love for Salesforce, so I became a contract Salesforce Certified Instructor. When I am not delivering Salesforce courses, I help organizations take their business to the next level by administrating Salesforce Organizations (Orgs) or just being a trusted advisor.

A little bit about Certifications

Not all Salesforce professionals are the same; some earn Salesforce Certifications and Superbadges. Superbadges are self-placed projects. Salesforce product certifications are proctored exams that test a professional's knowledge of best practices.
